Your role

  • As a Legal Advisor, you'll be at the intersection of law and technology, contributing significantly to both the legal and commercial aspects of our operations. Your responsibilities will include AI law consultancy and commercial law:

AI Law Consultancy

  • You advise and support our clients as an expert in AI/ICT law and related legal issues (GDPR, intellectual property, AI Act, Data Act, etc.). You answer their questions and make recommendations in this area for every B12 project.
  • You provide legal and ethical guidance on data protection, privacy, and responsibility considerations in AI development.
  • You collaborate with our technical teams to ensure the compliance of our AI applications with relevant and upcoming laws and standards.
  • You assist in the creation and implementation of internal policies to align our best practices with legal frameworks, reinforcing our dedication to transparency, ethics, and responsibility, further establishing B12 Consulting as a trusted leader in the field of artificial intelligence.
  • You conduct in-depth legal research on AI regulations, staying abreast of the latest developments in the field.

Commercial Law

  • You draft, review, and negotiate a variety of business contracts as well as incoming and outgoing legal documents with our clients.
  • You ensure the company's interests are protected in all legal matters, providing sound legal advice on commercial transactions.
  • You work closely with our business development team to mitigate legal risks in client contracts. You are involved in writing commercial offers (in French or English) to formalize our service proposals.
  • You stay up-to-date with changes in commercial laws affecting our industry and advise the organization accordingly.

Your profile


  • You have a Master's degree in law and a demonstrated track record of at least 2 years in practicing law, preferably with a focus on AI/IT law and/or commercial law.
  • You have a good understanding of AI regulations, data privacy laws (GDPR), and commercial contract principles (especially in the B2B context).
  • You have the ability to negotiate and draft complex legal agreements, ensuring the protection of the company's interests.
  • You have strong communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • You have an interest in IT, and especially in Artificial Intelligence, software development and mobile applications and you are ready to learn and stay at the forefront of knowledge in an evolving legal field.
  • You have the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software developers and business developers.
  • You are autonomous, organized and stress-resistant.


  • An advanced degree or certification in technology law, AI ethics, or related fields.
  • An experience with or in the AI or IT sectors.
  • A good knowledge of Dutch (read, spoken, written).
