Jonathan Samelson

Jonathan Samelson joined B12 Consulting in November 2022 as an AI Developer.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2017 at the Paul Lambin Institute (Brussels), during which he participated in an Erasmus exchange program at the Dublin Institute of Technology. In 2020, he graduated with a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data at UCLouvain.

Jonathan previously worked as a research assistant at UCLouvain, where he contributed to an Artificial Intelligence project focused on detecting objects in video surveillance footage, aiming to contribute to the development of more intelligent and secure urban environments. Additionally, he developed a strong interest in the concept of digital twins for generating annotated synthetic data.

Jonathan possesses a keen eye for detail which he leverages to deliver solutions of the utmost quality. He demonstrates a proactive approach by anticipating potential issues and identifying corner cases during his analysis. He empathizes with users, enabling him to tailor responses to their needs and enhance their overall experience.

At B12 Consulting, Jonathan played a key role in the creation of a platform for a prominent player in real estate development. His contributions were centered around the utilization of Angular and Python Django frameworks. In addition, Jonathan gained valuable experience in data visualization by working on various projects involving tools like Grafana and Power BI.

During his free time, Jonathan likes to play volleyball and practices orienteering. He also enjoys playing video games, especially management and simulation games to learn more about diverse topics of interest like aviation.
