Cédric Schoonen

Cédric joined B12 Consulting as an Associate in October 2025.

He holds a PhD in Statistical Physics from the University of Brussels, where his research focused on modeling crystal–fluid interfaces and the early stages of crystal formation using Classical Density Functional Theory. His doctoral work involved designing and implementing high-performance C++ code for large-scale scientific simulations.

As an AI Engineer at B12 Consulting, Cédric leverages his strong analytical mindset and deep expertise in complex systems to tackle challenging client problems. He is particularly interested in developing practical and ethical AI solutions that create a positive impact on both society and business.

Outside of work, Cédric enjoys hiking and spending time in nature. He also has a passion for strategy games—both video and board games—and appreciates listening to classical music.
