Chris Adam

DevOps

Chris joined B12 Consulting as a DevOps engineer in October 2021. He quickly became a key figure in B12's DevOps culture. In particular, he has contributed to the implementation and management of CI/CD servers, as well as the standardization of cloud practices.

Chris earned a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. He then pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Modeling at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2021.

Chris is versatile in his DevOps role. He primarily works with Jenkins, SonarQube, AWS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana. He also actively participates in sharing knowledge with his colleagues through onboarding sessions and continuously throughout the year. He consistently focuses on finding solutions while maintaining a structured approach. He has worked on a wide array of projects, ranging from a microservices architecture in AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) to a monolithic application containerized on an on-premise Linux VM. Internally, he maintains multiple servers, both in the cloud and on-premises. He also oversees network architecture, IT inventory, and employee accounts in his additional role as an IT support specialist.

During his free time, Chris regularly goes hiking and plays badminton. He also enjoys exploring indie games.
