Katarina Milačić

Katarina embarked on her journey with B12 Consulting in March 2024, pioneering as the first employee of our new office in Montenegro. 

Her academic background laid the groundwork for her career. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Montenegro in 2017, she continued with a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Ljubljana in 2020. It was during her Master's studies that Katarina delved into the realms of deep learning, focusing on the domain of text summarization and language knowledge transfer, as evidenced by her Master’s thesis.

Katarina's professional trajectory is marked by her adeptness in different domains. From microservice architecture design to back-end web application development, she has integrated services for document and image processing while delivering cutting-edge solutions across cloud and on-premises infrastructures. Her expertise in Machine Learning, especially in Natural Language Processing (NLP), has seen her spearhead projects in structured document analysis, text classification, and entity recognition, underscoring her commitment to pushing the boundaries of technological advancement.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Katarina embraces the tranquility of yoga, captures the essence of life through her lens, explores the world on two wheels, and enriches her soul through the pages of literature.
